Welcome Welcome… to a post about being thankful for 3 of the many skills I possess and have developed over time.
Joining Deepa, Amrita, Tina and Mayuri for #ThankfulThursdays
The 3 skills I am Thankful for are:
- Bullet train – I love this pet name 🙂 as it aptly describes the speed at which I function – I am quick to grasp things, think through, act and execute.
This is a skill which has been very handy with my plate overflowing with tasks on most (all) days! - Multi-tasking – again, thanks to the different things I do professionally, I need to be able to change gears and work on different things, simultaneously!
I go from a meeting about changes in Laws to ideating on a product launch to consulting on business processes — while checking a communication document on my phone & replying to tweets! This is a learned skill – one that I am very thankful for, else, every 24 hours would be stretched to 40 to accommodate everything I must do, everyday 🙂 - Conversations – I can talk to anyone, about anything under the sun & have a fantastic time doing it!
And if it is conversation over coffee, so much the better 🙂
Come join the fun with all of us. Tell us which are the 3 skills you are thankful for?
How did you develop those skills? We would love to learn from you – Leave us a comment below.
Cheers,
I

I really liked the post my skills which I feel I am thankful is my happy go round nature, multitasking and no worries attitude
The three skills that I am thankful are, a good intuition, the ability to listen to others, and good time management that always stands in good stead.
I am thankful to be multitasking , do lot of work at same time.
2. thank God I am not lazy like my hubby, i just want my work to be done on time.- I l=dont like to be in defaulter category
3.big thank u having different hobbies- baking,creativity-craft work /diy and reading
These are there qualities that I want to develop! I can’t talk to anyone… I go blank on phone calls, though I am fine on chat! I am always lethargic and have a hard time grasping things! Hopefully I too will develop these! 😀
My family calls me snail i wish i get some attributes of bullet train you have any tips for me?
I’m thankful that I’m patient never give up on myself. I have developed this by regular practice and always motivating myself.
There can be many skills and the ones you have mentioned are really much-needed and I’m also thankful that I have at least some of them. this post has a great topic and quite unique.
Good to see this old post for Thankful Thursdays. 🙂 I liked the three skills you mentioned. Multitasking is surely helpful.
It really important to have these three skills. And at the same time people find it difficult to have such skills. It is amazing that you can communicate or multi task.
So the first two match me too perfectly, the speed with which I cater to things and multi tasking!
Omg…My hubby also calls me Bullet train
And you know multitasking I also do and with situation I also learn this skill
These skills are so much needed and you have mastered them perfectly. Multitasking is something that I am good at too but currently not meeting my expectations.
I am thankful for multi tasking and planning skill that enables me to handle things well and in advance.
3 skills I am thankful for is writing, power of convincing and being friendly. Loved reading this post. It made me introspect as well
Well I consider myself multitasker, and off lately I have become patience.nice article though
I am unable to think of 3 things. But yes multitasking is also a skill i am thankful for.. Lovely post

I love conversations over coffee and quite good at speaking non stop 🙂 Multitasking is something I developed post baby
Wow, i love this series… And bullet train is a nice name .. I haven’t met you personally but i can say our personality is same .. I too can do so much work at a time ..
Hashtags Thankful Thursdays sounds like such a happy and unique tag. Makes me wonder how little we think of all the skills we have and how even more little thankful we are for them. Thanks for sharing this!
This is such a great initiative. In school, we were always told to count our blessings and as we grow up, we get ignorant towards the things we have.
I am a multitasker too. And i feel its one of my best skills i have other than good listener.
I too love talking to people. It’s so interesting to hear people’s stories and share with them yours!
