Spread the love

Welcome to A to Z of Healing with Isheeria’s Healing Circles.

I hope you will join me on my journey through A to Z all this April, as I share nuggets from my experiences as a Healer.

B is for Bach Flower Therapy

I love flowers! So, when I came across the Bach Flower Therapy, I naturally wanted to know more!

A to Z of Healing with Isheeria - B is for Bach Flower Therapy

Dr. Edward Bach founded a system of Healing using Flower Remedies.
He believed that while Homeopathy, and other forms of medicine aim at treating the disease of the body, the mind and emotional imbalance are the true reason for dis-ease.

“Health depends on being in harmony with our souls”
– Dr. Edward Bach

Bach Flower Therapy works on the Emotional factors. The belief is that the mind and emotions play a crucial role in the speed of recovery and effectiveness of any treatment.

When one is going through something tough, these remedies help restore the balance. One doesn’t need to be physically ill or unwell to benefit. As a matter of fact, many emotional issues such as anxiety, worry, loneliness, etc are not diagnosed or treated by popular medicine (in my knowledge) – but in Bach Therapy, there are remedies to help restore your mental health and well-being.

In Bach Flower Therapy there are a total of 38 remedies, and are used by Health practitioners, vets and healers and even gardeners for their plants!
And one of the best parts, especially if you decide to study this yourself, is that no remedy is harmful. So even if you pick a wrong one – It will just not be effective! (Though I would highly recommend that you read & study, and learn from a practitioner).

This is a complete system of healing which works on full disclosure, which leads to self-knowledge and Healing. The prescription depends on the individual’s temperament, mood and state of mind, and the treatment is directed completely at the emotional outlook of the personality.

Full Disclosure leads to Self-Knowledge leads to Healing

All alternative healing methods have one thing in common – they are non-invasive, and gently work on restoring the balance, and the Bach Flower Therapy is one of the gentlest, and can be administered along with (complimentary to) any other form of medical treatment which one may be undergoing.

Personally, I have seen the Bach Flower Therapy work wonders on emotional issues (especially where there are no obvious outwardly physical signs or symptoms) such as depression and insomnia, and helped the person feel better about themselves in a matter of days.

Have you experienced the Healing powers of Bach Flowers in your life?
