Dear Isheeria’s Healing Circles Readers,
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Welcome to that special time of the year – the very last two weeks of the year! There are TWO long weekend offs we have coming up, which we can plan and enjoy, and take some time to spend on ourselves, rejuvenate and heal!
Here are some quick ideas which you can try out to relax and rejuvenate yourself –Â
- Self-Care
In the hectic lives we all lead, it is very important to set aside a small amount of time to take care of yourself.
- Take a break – Go on a holiday, or send everyone out and DO NOTHING!
- Take a break and enjoy a hot cup of tea or coffee, and just relax – don’t think of your to-do list or any problem. But just breathe.
- Go to the parlour for some pampering – get a head or foot massage or any treatment you like.
- Explore an alternate form of healing like Reiki or acupressure or yoga
  Â
- Boost your immunity
Every day is lived at such breakneck speeds, you need to take extra care of yourself and your loved ones. Take some time aside this holiday season, and take care of your immune system. Figure out and stock up on the supplements you need and create a grocery list of the required fruits and vegetables so it’s easy to be organized on a daily basis.
- Meditation and Yoga
Meditation and Yoga are both great stress busters, and really help you get back in tune with yourself. They do not require a lot of time, and if you can include these in your daily life, they yield far-reaching benefits.
- Explore
Explore your colony or any part of your city – become a tourist in your hometown. Looking at a familiar place with new eyes can be an interesting experience and can help break existing patterns of thoughts and ideas.Â
- Gratitude
Gratitude is a very powerful tool – when practiced regularly, it can be very helpful in Healing. Read about Upasna’s experience here.
- The festival time is a great time to Give Back.Â
Volunteer or give your time to a cause you feel strongly about. Each person can make a difference. This point is expressed very nicely in this article here on WriteTribe, and answers the question we have all wondered about at some time of the other: ‘will my choices make a difference in this world?’
How do you plan to spend the holidays? Would you be trying out any of these ideas? which did you like the most? Leave us a comment below.
