Welcome to the A to Z of Healing with Isheeria’s Healing Circles.
D is for DREAMS
Dreams are when your sub-conscious mind is giving you a message, a guidance. It is trying to bring something to your attention.
Very rarely are Dreams a straightforward message – they are wrapped up in symbology and clouded by multiple layers of imagery.
Dreams we see when we are asleep are different from Day-Dreams and Dreams we see when we are awake (more on this in another post).
Dreams are very Personal!
Everyone dreams, and most don’t remember – It is the minds’ way of working out things – It is just that some people remember and some don’t .
It is when you remember the dream that you reflect upon it, and think to yourself, well, what does it mean? What is my higher-self trying to tell me?!
And if you are like me, then the few dreams you remember, you want to interpret -investigate and understand the guidance in the dream.
There are various books and dictionaries available where you can look up the interpretation of your dreams.
Sometimes, what we read online or in books the explanation of the Dream, it feels just right, and sometimes we are unable to correctly interpret our dreams, because –
either, like sometimes words fail to explain ideas, the mind fails to express through pictures,
Or,
our dependence on other’s explanation is far greater than our own intuitive guidance.
Remember,
Dreams are personal
– This is YOUR higher- self
sending YOU a message, a guidance.
Therefore, whenever you remember a dream, focus on what YOU are FEELING, What the images mean to YOU/ SYMBOLIZES to you personally – and then interpret it for what the guidance is for you.
I have found that my Dreams usually have a message for me about a person or idea, or an aspect I may have overlooked. A guidance to the facets of a situations, and the possible outcomes of certain actions. Thus, making me stop, and re-assess my approach, interpretation and behavior!
Sometimes, they are even dreams which reassure – the imagery may be dark or chaotic, but If I wake up recalling the dream and feeling reassured or at peace, then I know it is a message that even in the chaos ahead, all will ultimately be fine!
Dreams are a wonderful way to be in touch with our higher selves – Enjoy it!
Happy Dreaming!

I’m not sure I really understand my dreams, but I do know they’re a lot of fun.

hahaa, well then that’s the very best thing John, isn’t it?! Thank you 🙂

Thank you for visiting 🙂
I have a dream dictionary that I used to use quite a lot floating around here somewhere. I used to keep a dream log too. When I realized how many reoccurring dreams I had it was kind of neat to keep track of the differences from time to time in the setting and learn to control them. That’s when I was younger and sleep was a hobby. Now is more of a thing I try to do but aren’t very good at anymore.

Jean – That’s a very good habit – A Dream Log! I hope you can get back to your ‘hobby’ soon 🙂 Thank you for dropping in.
Don’t remember the dreams often, but I do sense a personal message when I remember Them.
Absolutely – That’s your higher self communicating with you. Thanks Vinay for dropping in!
While many dreams are simply the results of your brain processing information, others send messages straight to your soul. I feel God uses dreams to communicate — and he may do so for anyone who’s paying attention. ( This is a personal experience comment) You never know when God may reach out to you through a dream; it could happen anytime. If you believe it’s possible, and if you’re seeking God, you’re in the best position to notice divine dream messages when they do come. So pay attention to what you see, hear, and feel in your dreams. Record what you remember about them soon after you wake up. Meditate on them. Pray about them. You may surprise yourself by what you discover!
Wonderfully Put Romilaa. Thank you for sharing your personal experience and thoughts 🙂
My dreams are vivid and I remember them! Also I agree that recurring dreams are trying to tell you something.
Love the chic new placement of posts on your blog, Ish.
