[U] is for USUI REIKI
I Must confess, I am A Usui Reiki Healer, Master and Practitioner – I began way back in my late teens!
A lot of who I am as a Healer & as a person has come from this practice!
It has been the one thing in which I have seen miracles – painless, non-intrusive, over time & distance Healings ,where people’s ailments, relationships and Lives have been Healed, and made better.

Usui Reiki is a holistic form of healing based on Life force energy. It is a simple hands-on Healing Technique, which was rediscovered by Dr. Mikao Usui in the late 19th Century in Japan.
The energy is drawn from the universe and transmitted through the hands, to help in healing and balancing the body, the chakras, the person at all levels – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
We learn this form of Reiki from a Master through initiation & attunement.
Level 1 teaches you to access the Universal Force of Energy and transmitting it through your hands for Healing.
Level 2 teaches you about sacred symbols, which allow you to then send Reiki Healing over space and time. The next Level is about acceleration and magnification of the Healing Energy.
And then Finally, the Reiki Mastership Level.Where you can initiate others by doing attunement, and teach the Reiki Healing way.
Each Level must have a specific no. of days and hours of Reiki completed before you can move to the next level.
Usui Reiki uses Sacred symbols to magnify and accelerate the healing.
In my experience, Reiki works at 2 levels – the physical manifestation of a dis-ease and the underlying root cause.
An every day example is of headaches – Reiki helps ease the pain of the head ache, so I can continue with my task at hand, and also works on healing the base problem, which in my case, is usually gas. It is an apparent, obvious & noisy healing time! But, it means I don’t have to rely on medicines which are chemicals to heal me, and it is quick relief. (oopsie example, don’t laugh, it’s very real 🙂 & I am so glad I have Reiki’s aid)
Note: The more you call on Usui Reiki, the Universal Life Force Energy, the quicker it will respond.
As a matter of fact, since Reiki has come into my Life, I barely ever take any medicines.
There are many forms of Reiki Healing, as in the earlier times, the oral tradition of knowledge being handed down from Master to Student.
Which is why today, you find there are different schools of Reiki, which may have all originally started off by the direct students of Dr. Mikao Usui.
One thing you will find about this Healing modality (Reiki) is that it is a holistic approach to Healing, self-discovery and development.

Interesting Post Buddy! Can a master treat us in Reuki from a distance means if you are cities apart?
Yes Roma. Anyone who has completed their Level 2 attunement, can send Reiki across any distance and time (to be past, present & future).
I have heard a lot of Reiki. But never tried it. Didn’t know it works from pong distance too.

I have heard a lot of positive things about Reiki. Reiki looks like a savior and the best choice to heal naturally without any medication. thanks for sharing 5 Usui Reiki Principles, I am going to follow it.
I have heard a lot about the powerful concept of Reiki, but sadly have never got a chance to experience it myself. I like the positive principles, something worth adopting in our lives.
I remember reading your last post and I told you about my cousin who was learning reiki. Of course in the comments. I guess this is the branch she was trying to master. Loved reading this post.
