According to Maxwell Maltz, it takes 21 days to build any habit. By encouraging, requiring, & promoting children to exercise on a regular basis, we are forming early habits.
2) Build Healthy Bones & Muscles
In order to strengthen our kid’s bones and muscles, we must encourage them to participate in weight-bearing activities. Starting at an early age to strengthen bones & muscles can help prevent injuries later on. in their more difficult workouts.
3) Prevent Disease
Obesity can cause a number of health problems & diseases including type 2 diabetes, heart disease, osteoarthritis, and many forms of cancer. When a child is obese, their likelihood of developing said diseases increases significantly. Encouraging a healthy lifestyle including better nutrition and regular exercise can decrease their chances of facing these life-altering diseases.
4) Promote Good Sleeping Patterns
When people exercise regularly, their sleep patterns improve.According to a study done by The National Sleep Foundation, if an individual gets about 150 minutes of exercise a week, there is a 65% improvement in sleep quality.
Keep in mind, however, that exercise should not be done immediately before bed.
5) Reduce Stress
Endorphins are released when we participate in a physical activity making you feel happier and relaxed.We can improve our kids mental & emotional state simply through exercise.

I totally agree with each and every word you mention as parents we definitely need to take care of child eating sleeping pattern and make exercise routine from a very early age
Indeed Child Obesity is gunning for some startling facts which actually pains due to more mechanical lifestyle we have set in our kids. Good points to help them stay fit
Thanks for these tips. I am going to share with my relatives who continuously try to over feed their kids. My son is super slim and active but doctors say as long as he is eating well and is active, he is fine which is what we need.

overfeeding is I guess a big part of Indian culture it starts from Over feeding them as babies. I guess exercising and physical activities play an important part however having a balanced diet is the main element to prevent obesity in kids. Remember Obesity in children leads to Obese teenagers and obese adults. Thank you for sharing this

Child obesity is a serious problem. I try to make my son exercise with me and send him to the playground to play any sport with his friends everyday. I should try this too.
