This Week, we at Team #NISSAtalks are sharing our view on the idea of Fragrance in Relationships #FragranceinRelationships
Can you recall the fragrance of the soil, the earth after the rain?
If you closed your eyes and inhaled it, you remember it immediately, don’t you?
You even remember the way you feel every time you take that big deep breath right after the rains.
This is the power of a fragrance… It can bring alive a memory, a feeling, a state of being. It can trigger happiness and joy, it can remind you of a person, time or experience!
Fragrance plays such an important role in our lives! I always know which of my family members is around, jut by the fragrance wafting in. Every child recognizes when something belongs to their mother or father just by smelling it, as it carries the unique fragrance of that person.
Studies have found that Fragrance can be used to heal physical, psychological and emotional pains, discomforts and illnesses.

Do you know that YOU are already practicing some Fragrance Healing in your Homes and Lives?
Yes, by using Aroma Therapy, whether in the form of oils and diffusers or incense sticks, or even aromatic creams and soaps – You have incorporated the magick of Healing with Fragrances into your life and home.
There are Five fragrance categories –
1.Green
2. Floral
3. Citrus
4.Woody
5.Spicy
Here are some common and easily available fragrances which you can use in your homes to improve the Health of everyone in the family, improve the vibrations of your home, and bring more fragrance into your relationships –
Lavender
Lavender is a versatile fragrance, with a pleasant & pretty aroma. It is a great balancer of the emotional and nervous systems.
A lot of people apply lavender in the mornings to keep calm and collected through the day.
Sandalwood
Sandalwood has a rich, warm and woody aroma which is soothing and relaxing.
It is also used for uplifting moods and dispelling tensions. It is also good for treating depression, stress and anxiety and even insomnia.
Lemon
The Lemon tree is one of my favorites! If you spend some time under it, you feel like fragrant lemon air-bubbles are falling on you – it’s joyful and relaxing at the same time! 🙂
Lemon fragrances are great for creating uplifting and energetic environments. It lowers blood pressure and has a cooling effect.
Camphor
In most houses you see that people burn some camphor – It is because this fragrance is an excellent deterrent for negative energies and influences and cleanses and purifies the atmosphere and the aura of all the people in the house/ that space.
It is also helpful for people who suffer from insomnia, depression or overall feel pulled down and clogged up.
You may pick one or the other aroma, or use all the fragrances in any order you like, just remember to use them in moderation, and welcome the aroma into your life and see the change in the fragrance of your relationships.
It is also helpful for people who suffer from insomnia, depression or overall feel pulled down and clogged up.

Good Fragrances are vital to keep our senses spiked up and stay calm and happy. You have researched on all those flavours so well and articulated it. It is a known fact that we are attracted towards others due to their body fragrance and aura.. #NISSATalks
Very well researched article. I can smell the wet sand while reading you article. #NISSATalks
Oh yes, fragrances do evoke memories. It is perhaps the first sense that gets activated when you meet someone (along with sight). I’ve never tried essential oils in the home, perhaps will take your guidance to try these!
cheers,

Fragrance of home cook food takes me on a nostalgic trip and makes me fall in love with my mother’s recipes. Fragrance of the soil after the first showers reminds me of the ‘sepiaish’ time spent with better half.
Fragrance does has close relationship with memories.

Woody… Spicy… Floral… Citrus… words that whisky and whiskey producers use, USPs that even wine producers use. But then, linking them to fragrance the way you have used, is what is most pleasing to most. Loved the post that you have shared. 🙂

I love having a soothing fragrance in my home and use incense sticks/dhoop for it. Also, natural scents like fresh flowers also lift up my mood. This was such a different and reletable post, Ishi.
